Asda

Transport Innovation and Asda began working together in 1994. Asda wished to provide a taxi or private hire freephone in as many of its stores as possible. Transport Innovation is the only company who could handle this volume, and provide the level of service Asda requires. Each store benefits from a telephone which links directly to a reliable company, allowing customer service staff and management to concentrate on their busy working day. The UGO freephone benefits the caller, the staff and the cab company who service it.

In the last 5 years Transport Innovation has increased the income paid to Asda, considerably, taking away the hassle of managing freephone contracts plus the invoicing, telephone lines and maintenance of the whole service.

Five Star have been trading for over 30 years and Mr Rahman has been owner for 8. They had a chance to tender for a Tesco in Windsor in June 2011 and were successful.

Mr Rahamn is very pleased with the response he has received from this store and has since taken on additional drivers as a result of this freephone and other contracts in the area.

He has also found that the freephone has given him extra jobs at quieter times during the day.
